MAGPIE LANE, was a 'best book of 2020' for BBC RADIO 4's OPEN BOOK, the GUARDIAN, the TELEGRAPH and GOOD HOUSEKEEPING MAGAZINE. Lucy's other novels include THE NIGHT VISITOR (which has been optioned for TV) and her bestselling debut THE MISSING ONE. Her non-fiction books include the award-winning Amazon #1 parenting guide, FIRST TIME PARENT. Lucy is a book critic for The Sunday Times and the Guardian, and teaches on the Creative Writing Masters degree at the University of Oxford. She divides her time between Oxford and Lewes, Sussex.
